About

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University specializing in material culture and museum studies with a special emphasis on dress and adornment in the United States. This fall I am teaching Introduction to Folklore in the U.S. (IUPUI) and Cultural Aspects of Dress (I.U.).

Currently, I am also conducting ethnographic research with groups of uniform wearers in the United States to better understand their experiences and interpretations as well as how uniforms are shaped within diverse, dynamic contexts.
