I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University specializing in material culture and museum studies with a special emphasis on dress and adornment in the United States.

Currently, I am researching the acquisition,  interpretation, and use of wedding dresses within U.S. museum collections.
